Kawazu Bagatelle Park or the Jardin de Bagatelle

Image
"Jardin de Bagatelle" Last Summer in Japan the weather was really hot, it's humid and stifling but the feeling of having my parents with us is so much more heart igniting. Wandering around in one of the best flower gardens I have ever visited so far last year, the Kawazu Bagatelle Park or "Jardin de Bagatelle", it is known to be the sister park of Jardin de Bagatelle of Paris, France, it was established on the 28th of April 2001.  This symmetric  French-style rose garden was calculated thoroughly which makes it more look fancy, 18th century inspired. Looking back to my wanderlust experience. Buds begin to flower adding the splash of color, the cheeping sparrows invade the garden looking for juicy grubs and shiny seeds as the light leaks. The butterflies are like having a party. I can see them all around. The smell of the roses is like sweet scents that register to someone who smells it and luckily I'm one of them. To me it's like an enchant...

Yokohama Bay Hotel view late post

Image
When in Yokohama 12/30/16 My husband surprised me with the best Christmas Eve in Yokohama Bay Hotel. Even though it was a little bit early to celebrate for New Year I was very happy. It's not common for him to make surprises but yeah he did a great job! The hotel was fully booked and the available rooms are on the 14th floor so we checked in earlier because there are lots of people and it was a long queue.Aside from the magnificent view and the luxury places nearby, I enjoyed most of our time together as a family. We were able to meet his friends and had a good time with them too. Our son loves to experience something new and he was mesmerized by the lights of the city.I hope to bring my parents here in the near future. Just sharing a little bit of Yokohama. Summer view of Mount Fuji in La Hall

Image
Summer in Mount Fuji This photo was taken last year's summer season in La Hall Fuji. I was on the fifth floor when I get the chance to capture this photo. It was Sunday and a good season to feel warm not only by the weather but also by the Word of God. Feeling refreshed and blessed by the Pastor's sermon. I call this picture vanilla coated Fuji.

Koishikawa Korakuen and Ueno Park Cherry blossoms first bloom

Image
The First Bloom of Cherry Blossoms We were chasing the first bloom of the Cherry blossom last weekend.  First, we went to Yokohama to meet our friends and then drive all the way to Tokyo. It was my first time to see another kind of Cherry blossoms in Koishikawa Korakuen and in front of the entrance to Ueno Park.  Although the sky was gloomy and it drizzled it didn't hinder us from going to the park to see this exquisite flower in Spring that only lasts for weeks. In Japan, there are two kinds of the Cherry tree the "Kiku-Shidare-Zakura" and the "Somei Yoshino". The first 2 pictures are the Kiku-shidare-zakura".It looks stunning to me because of the branches arching from the trunk. And the most popular or numerous is the "Somei Yoshino", the third to last picture. The experience we had was pretty awesome even though we weren't able to join the "Hanami". Hanami, by the way, is where people eating and drinking or partying under...
